Welcome to Underneath The Bottle! My name is Michael and today we are going to talk about Organic wine and why it is such a good thing! What is Organic Wine? well… Organic wine is… well… SHORT! Short-short-short-short…! The short answer to that is Naturally grown grapes without synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilizers. So it is healthier for the environment and it is healthier for the consumer. The less chemicals… the better! But then again, that doesn’t mean that organic wine is without addatives. The difference is just that they have natural alternatives. So another good question towards Organic wine is: “How do you know if a bottle is Organic?” And is it trustworthy? This is how you do! Most vineyards that preforms a organic farming gets a certification from a registered program. Right. And the program logo show on the label. Either on the front or the back as a sticker. There is a bunch of different programs! They all have different restrictions and tolerance level. But it is safe to say that they are legit as it is illegal to promote false organic advertisement. Ok, so we know it has less chemical compounds and it is beneficial for the environment, and for your personal health. But does it taste better? Let’s figure it out! Let’s open this “bad boy”! >.

organic wines are great! i don't really know french standards for organic wines but those taste mellow and soft to me. I find the wine is soft on my palate. BTW, I begun collecting wine labels too! It's a pretty cool hobby. 🙂
