A PROVISION IN THE NEW LAW GIVES LIQUOR STORES A HEAD START ON SEVEN-DAY SALES — WHICH CAN START IMMEDIATELY. NEWS CHANNEL ELEVEN’S CAROLINE CORRIGANSPENT THE ENTIRE DAY TRACKING DOWN WHICH TRI-CITIES LIQUOR STORES ARE PLANNING TO OPEN THIS SUNDAY. WHILE LIQUOR STORES CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE NEW LAW IMMEDIATELY… GROCERY STORES WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL JANUARY FIRST TO SELL WINE ON SUNDAY’S. BOTH LIQUOR STORES AND GROCERY STORES ARE BARRED FROM WINE AND SPIRITS SALES ON EASTER… THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS.
