In this video, you will learn how to remove red wine from a carpet. There are a lot of vides that will tell you how to treat a fresh stain, but I am going to tell you how to treat a stain that is days or even weeks old. These are professional chemicals that are used by pro carpet cleaners. It is called stain magic and it is a two part solution that you mix as needed. You can purchase it on Amazon. There is a link to the product on my website that you can find at the link in the information section. Mix equal parts of solution A and B in a spray bottle. Then, mist the solution onto the spot. Now, take a damp towel and place it on the spot. Now, get a steam iron set on the lowest steam setting. Once it is warm, place it on the spot. Place the iron on the spot and keep it moving. Be careful not to breath in the fumes from the cleaner, it contains ammonia. Be carful not to touch the carpet with the iron directly to avoid burning it. After a few seconds, pull up the iron and your stain should be gone. That is it. If needed, you can repeat the process to remove any stubborn red wine stains. This is a process that would have cost you about $100 from a carpet cleaner and you can do it for a fraction of the cost.
