Elderly Man Crashes Into Wine, Spirits Store; Injures 2 Children

WITH MINOR INJURIES. AUTHORITIES ARE NOW INVESTIGATING HOW THIS HAPPENED. AND IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, A CAR CRASHES INTO THE FRONT OF A LIQUOR STORE INJURING TWO CHILDREN. POLICE SAY A 94-YEAR-OLD MAN PLOWED RIGHT THROUGH THE FRONT WINDOWS OF THE WINE AND SPIRIT STORE ON THE 200 BLOCK OF HARLEYSVILLE PIKE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. OFFICIALS SAY THE DRIVER FAILED TO APPLY THE BRAKE WHEN PARKING. INSTEAD, ACCELERATING INTO THE STORE. OFFICIALS SAY ONE CHILD WAS STRUCK BY THE CAR. A SECOND CHILD WAS INJURED BY GLASS. NOW, THEY ARE BOTH LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION.
